Three Anchors from Generations of Proof

We formulated from our heritage and ancient wisdom passed down to us. When we became mothers we entrusted these ingredients for gentle healing powers during our most vulnerable chapters in life.

I. Nigella

PHAROAH'S GOLD

The flower that blooms from black cumin seeds known as kalonji in Urdu has been revered for millennia across South Asian, Middle Eastern, and North African healing traditions. In historical lore, in ancient Egypt, black cumin seed oil was found in King Tutankhamun’s tomb {circa 1323 BC} to assist in his afterlife.

Afsheen's mother made her kalonji parathas during her postpartum recovery, knowing the seeds' reputation for anti-microbial healing, resilience, and skin restoration.

In our formulations, Nigella delivers rich nourishment for stressed skin, antioxidant defense through thymoquinone, barrier support, and visible calming of irritation during hormonal flux. You'll find it in both PREP and PLUMP because wherever you start your Cōpḍī routine, your skin deserves this kind of multi-generational wisdom.

II. Prickly Pear

THE DESERT JEWEL

For centuries, indigenous communities have relied on the plant for food and medicine, cementing its reputation as "jewel" of the desert ecosystem

Samantha discovered prickly pear as fico d'India is a resilient cactus woven into Italian culinary and medicinal tradition. Before she moved to Italy, both Samantha and Afsheen had already discovered it through French skincare, only to find it grows abundantly in California. That convergence felt inevitable: a botanical bridge between our Italian, South Asian, and American worlds.

Extraordinarily rich in vitamin E {150% more than argan oil} and betalains for antioxidant protection. Absorbs instantly, never greasy, leaving skin silky and firm-looking. This is Third Culture skincare: rooted in multiple places, belonging to all of them.

III. Mushrooms

ADAPTOGENIC WISDOM

Mushrooms have been central to our wellness long before they entered our formulations. We consume them daily with our mixed dietary households. We understand mushrooms not as a trend, but as sustenance.

Snow Mushroom {Tremella Fuciformis}

Nature's hyaluronic acid analog. Holds up to 500 times its weight in water. Dewy, bouncy surface texture.

Shiitake {Lentinus Edodes}

Brightens and evens tone over time. Addresses the dullness hormonal shifts leave behind.

Turkey Tail {Trametes Versicolor}

Supports a clearer, more refined complexion. Well-rested radiance, even when rest is elusive.
